See you in iniquity

When I was writing my last post, I noticed some words were not proper English. So, I went back and corrected them. However the last part of yesterday's post disappeared when I did so. I'll rewrite my thoughts on today's post, then.
In Utah, the police raided a party that was completely legal. Every permit required by the city was there, it was on Private property. And still, they raided. Go figure, but the subject line was most true "The Breakdown of the U.S."
In Texas, Cindy Sheehan still waits patiently to speak with President Bush. With Rev. Al Sharpton in her corner, how can she lose? That's right, Al Sharpton will be coming to Camp Casey to be in a prayer vigil with the "peace mom". Kudos to you Ms. Sheehan and the Rev. for leading the vigil. For all of you who are for the war in Iraq, I say back off of her. She's only going to be there another week or so. This is so much like the hippie era. Thankfully, I wasn't around to see it but I did hear many stories about the peace marches, rallies, and other things that made the 60s "the 60s". Oh and we can't forget the 70s! My own father would have gladly went and fought in 'Nam, but for his eyes. Now remember, children, this was the time when it was considered "cool and rebellious" to burn your draft cards and he was willing to go over there and fight. But back to the story at hand.
While she waits to talk to President Bush for at least an hour, sixty minutes. I think that would be more than sufficent for the president to tell her that he is sorry that her son lost his life in his war. Oh well, both you and I know it will never happen. We all know why, too. But the people for peace are right. WE need to bring the troops home. At the beginning of this so-called war we were trying to get the terrorists who gave us 9/11. Somehow we got turned around and had to go into Iraq. Now, don't get me wrong. I was crushed when I saw that happened and I am glad that the troops got Mr. Hussein. But we got him and now it is time for the troops to come home.
So, like my title says. I'll see you in iniquity, because that is where we will end up unless we start respecting and LISTENING to each other. Till next time, Sarah

I agree. Think I'll join you on the NOT going to Utah. Too bad one of my best friends is over there, if I recall. Oh well, she'll have to come back to Kansas so I can go visit her.
