Back...Back again

Reading the list of posts that I have done and to be honest, it's not a lot.  Nineteen and like three or so of them are drafts.
A lot has happened in the six years since I have done my last post. Friends have come and gone. My precious pets have both passed away.  I quit my job at Dillon's-best decision ever... and got divorced. My mother in law has passed away, as well .
It is truly something to think what a year can do. Let alone six years.

I wish that somehow there was a feature to remind you of what has happened because Facebook has Memories and some of my posts, I can't remember for the life of me what I was talking or thinking about.  Maybe, eventually, someone somewhere will come up with the idea like in Ready Player One.

Maybe I'll come back to this .Maybe not.

On a national note, Senator John McCain died Saturday, August 25th, 2018.

Here comes the bride...

Not me personally but seeing as how today is the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton, my title seemed appropriate. By now, I'm sure most everyone watched some part of the wedding. Even my husband had to watch some of it. Poor guy, every news channel was covering it when he got up at four am.
It's funny that Prince William is older than I am by a few months but yet I have been married so much longer. If by chance you or one of your friends happens to read this or anyone else who is married or getting married please take my advice and for the record I'm sure that everyone says the same things. Never go to bed angry and spend at least an hour alone together and at lease once a month spend a day together.
Ok now that is done. In national news, storms and tornadoes hit the South and basically leveled that part of the country. Keep them in your prayers... The Space Shuttle launch is pushed back 48 hours and Gabrielle Giffords is in Florida with her husband. Her recovery is nothing short of a miracle and I hope that they literally throw Mr. Loughner in a black hole and throw away the key.
In Southwest Kansas there's news too. We lost alot of people this past month. The Spencer Family, Little Kaylien and Maria and my neighbor Dave. I don't know the Spencer family or Maria but my heartfelt sympathies goes out to their families. To Megan-I know we really don't know each other that well but I am truly sorry for your loss. To Dave, I hope you have finally found peace.

Abashed the Devil Stood

Well, here it is. November. The Election of the Century or whatever you want to call it is on Tuesday. Either way it will be a historical win. A woman in the White House or an African-American. I know I don't talk about politics. Don't see why I have to, seeing as how there is so many others to talk about it for me. I don't even watch the politics on the television. All they say is the same things. "We are the best choice for the nation" Here is a question that no one has answered. Why do you want to take over the leadership of a country that is in such bad shape? Oh, yeah, can't forget that we are hated by most everyone. I know that what I just wrote will upset alot of people but if you think about it, it is true. In my opinion, we are no better than anyone else on this planet.
Enough politics. Life will go on...All I can say is that I hope whoever wins the election will take control of the nation and help us and the world.
On Topix.com, The battle has started again. Guerita and "Joe Schmoe" face off. For those of you who don't know, this is basically a name calling contest. It started with a lady called Tiger Mom. Now, while I think she is actually nice in real life. She was hateful on Topix. But then, the imposters had to get involved and it went south-BIG time. So with all the "Report Abuse" clicked, she and her imposters got banned. Now, there is Joe Schmoe. This will never end. But, we must have entertainment somehow. However, it does get boring reading Joe, Guerita, Joe, Guerita. Ah well.
Life here in Kansas is going okay. My dad and brother are stuck in Texas. I can say, I am throughly enjoying this. My mother and me told him not to go but he went and now, the Jeep is gone, gone, gone....Hopefully, they get it fixed.

Favorite lyric from the Finger Eleven song-Paralyzer. You know, I was reading old posts and realized that I didn't post as often as I said I would. In fact, I kinda of completely forgot that I even had a blog. But oh well, maybe I'll get better. Who knows? Surely not me.
Well, first of all, I'm sure you want to know how my life/days are. Truth-I'm bored to death, seeing as how both my kids are in school. I need a job. But good news, I am catching up on my IM friends. I take it back...I think I just got a job.

All that Jazz...

Well, here I am killing time simply because I can. Also helps that I have nothing to do and my dad's laptop. Ahh...wondering why I have this laptop? It's simple really. My darling father, who is an interesting character to say the least, bought this computer for my brother who desperately needed to talk to his girlfriend(you remember her, last post). Why he couldn't just call her is beyond me. But long story short. My bro "promised" his gf that he would get a laptop no less just so he could chat to her. Well, when he told my dad that he had "promised", Dad had to go buy the PC.
A couple of weeks later, after the crashes and everything, bro moves in with crazy on-again off-again gf. And so, my dad is stuck with a computer he can't use. For those of you who are wondering-I left DETAILED instructions on everything next to the computer. Still the man could not get the comp to work so, I had asked to see it and now here I am using it! So, to all my friends, I am back(part-time) till my dad decides that he wants it back.
Other news-my little boy broke his elbow, Surprisingly he has not used his cast as a weapon yet.
If any of you who actually read this blog and know something about Subaru. Can you help me??? My mom's car is STILL sitting in my yard. Some kind of vapor lock.
No IDEA... Made it seven years with my husband-unbelievable. Precious had her puppies, TEN of them. Got rid of all but one. We call her Daisy, sneaky little pup.
Anybody has any good movie ideas please let me know. No naughty ones though please.

No reasonable people here.

Hey everybody. I'll make this short seeing as how I got twenty minutes. I'm back in Kansas. Well, been back for a year and a half. This summer has been crazy as some of my friends know. Both my mother and brother got in accidents FIVE DAYS Apart no less. My bro had his crazy gf with him when he rolled the jeep and walked away from it. Thank God. But here is why she is LOONEY TUNES! My mom got hit by a road dept dump truck, totalled the van she just got two days before, got everything (backboard, c-collar) and his gf is pissed because she or the baby didn't get hurt when he rolled the jeep. HOW psycho is that???
But enough about that. I have got a pitbull. Know what going through your mind mean dog but she's a baby. I'll write more next week.

SNAFU, TARFU, and Last but not least FUBAR

I won't go into what that means. Most people should get it, I hope. Well, I haven't written ANYTHING since January. So, here is a nutshell of what has been happening. I moved around ALOT. Palm Springs, D.H.S., Indio, CA and Las Vegas, NV back to good ol' Garden City, KS. I know, I know-why come back to Kansas when I was living in Southern California? Hell, to be honest I have no idea. Maybe my kids? My husband? My family? Who, by the way has a recent addition-Neo. I an NOT KIDDING.
This is new added 1-14-2007 sitting here real quick trying to figure out my life...no luck. Miss ALL my friends and I hope everyone has a great NEW year. As for me-well I wish that I could start THIS YEAR OVER or sleep through it. Either way more on that later.
