Back off...I'll take you on

I was just skimming my email, not even opening and reading them. But just reading the subject lines. Damn, what I read scared even me. Everybody knows how Justice O'Connor is retiring and Chief Justice Rehnquist has passed away. Now here is what scared me. The guy the Pres. Bush is recommending for O'Connor's position(Roberts, I think his name is) is now up for Rehnquist's position. Just wait a cotton-pickin' minute. Why should a newbie like Roberts get Chief Justice when EVERYONE ELSE on the Court has been there a HELL of a LOT LONGER than him. Doesn't that SCREAM something? Anyone??? It does to me but I can't think of the word I want.

Just thought I would share that with you.

In other news, in case you haven't noticed my internet didn't get shut off, so I'll be able to chat for a bit longer. Always a good thing.
Louisiana is still needing help but I was sent this article. I'll post it tomorrow. It talked about the Red Cross, United Way, and the Salvation Army. Gist of it was-give money to the Salvation Army, not the Red Cross or the United Way. Like I said, I'll post it tomorrow.

In my life, my brother is still acting like a spoiled brat and my dad is GIVING him ANYTHING he wants. The car, money, anything. It's insane. Here's just one small example of how messed up my family is. My brother's girlfriend lives WAY out of town, at least a 15 minute drive and he can take the car and go pick her up for school, take her to lunch, take her home, and then GO back out to her house and stay out there till midnight. Now, my mother was told by my dad not to come to my house as often as she would like to for the reason of saving gas. Now SOMEONE please explain that to me. PLEASE!!!
