Sit, boy...
LOL, after making people read that LONG story about my grandmother, which yes I know I didn't have to, but hey, I warned you. It is another one of my issues. This will be considerably shorter. Ok, where were we? Ah yes, my parents getting remarried. Well, simply put, everyone got back together. Told you, much shorter...*smiles. So, now I'm living in Southwest Kansas with my husband, two kids, and my cats.
Now, onto my likes and dislikes. I basically like everything and I don't like people who constantly message me every two seconds. You know who you are. Music-as you can see in my profile-is practically all rock. In this too, I like everything, except for sappy love songs. They have their place but not on my stereo. Now, for my television shows. I love my Anime-InuYasha, Cowboy Bebop, and Adult Swim. Also, I watch CSI:Las Vegas, JAG, Nash Bridges, WWE RAW and Smackdown, MailCall and MaxEx. Of course there are others, but to list all of them would be one hell of a long list. I also read quite extensively. Don Coldsmith, mainly and my Native American historical fiction.
But that is my life story with other bits and pieces thrown in.
Onto the news-A couple of days ago, I was watching the news and I saw this segment on dating sites. Now, I myself am on a couple of dating sites. Just for friends, mind. OkCupid, Hot or Not, and netfriendships. But the woman doing the story went onto Beautifulpeople.com and posted a profile. After three days, I think it was they emailed her saying that her picture wasn't generating enough interest on the site so they took her profile off. Now, this was a couple of days ago but come on people. You don't need a site telling you that you are beautiful. That's insanity. You have your friends and family to tell you that.
Hurricane Katrina has wrecked havoc on the Southern States. Driving gas prices up to the point of Insanity. We need to do something or better yet make President Bush do something. One of my friends and I were talking about this subject earlier today and he said that it will get to the point where everyone will drive just to work and back. I know for a fact that the businesses in my area have seen a drop in commerce. WE need to do something.
